Church Beautification Project

On March 15, 2004 we moved from our church to a temporary church within the Parish Hall's Multipurpose Room. After 40+ years the church needed new flooring, painting, a current technology sound system, new lighting and much more. These pictures show how the church looked the day before we entered into our temporary facility. Also included are pictures of the temporary church and some of the construction that is underway.

Communion rails have been removed.

Fr. Soria describes how a semicircle of stairs will lead up to the new altar which will be located at approximately where he is standing.
Pews have been moved and a "cherry picker" brought in to start working the high walls and ceiling improvements.

The following pictures were taken at the First Mass in our newly renovateed Church. Our clergy blessed the Altar, the Baptismal Font and the Congregation. This Mass Blessing was held June 12, 2004, forty four years to the day of the anniversary of the Church's official dedication by our Bishop at the time (visit our parish history page)

At the dedication Mass of June 12, 1960 the Sacrament of Confirmation was also received by many of our young parishioners. The reception and photographs by parents followed.
